A very exciting match between to evenly matched teams,The Dragons having the best of the early exchanges and lead 1-3 with Steve Karpel making a exceptional clearance to beat Rory in the third frame.
The Foxes regrouped and got back to 3-3 at half-time.Toby got his revenge on Matt to put the Dragons 3-4 in front but Clem and Rory fought hard to put the Foxes back in front at 5-4.Then came the story of two frames which were won by default to make the 6-5 to the Foxes.Then Dean made an exceptional clearance after a foul break from his opponent to give The Foxes a very hard earned victory 7-5.A great evening had by all The Dragons are certainly a team on the up and will be a force for the rest of this and serious contenders for next season..WELL PLAYED TO THEM AND A SPECIAL MENTION FOR DEAN PERRY WHO PLAYED TWO OUTSTANDING FRAMES...

Dean deserves to well, he entered our singles league at Barnet and if you put the time in and are prepared to enter other competitions it can only help your game. Some people think you can just turn up on a Thursday have no practice and play well, it doesn't work that way, you can tell the people who put the effort in.

We were shite last night, not knocking the younguns but any team in the league could have beat us last night. This result has been coming but it should serve as a reminder that we are not invincible.

Our lead at the top has been cut and we will need a good performance to beat the Foxes next week.
