F.S.S.C FOXES 6  12th time lucky after 3 years a strange feeling came over The Foxes players we had won at last in Barnet "THE NIGHTMARE ON BARNET HIGH STREET WAS OVER!!!!!A match of nerves with very good, good and very average play took place last night.The Foxes lead 4-2 at the interval. Game Plan for 15 minutes The Foxes players had a team talk to discuss tactics for the second set.. After a interesting debate,Dean our most consistent player came out to make the score 5-2 just one more "we have been here before remember last year against The Elite.. Rory up next he missed a great chance to win the match against Scott who then held his nerves to clear the remaining yellows and after losing ideal position on the black potted a beauty..WELL DONE!!! to make it 5-3..Next up Andy against Sea the tide was turning as Sea produced some very good attacking shots to build up a strong position ..left with 2 shots after a foul on his last 2 reds he went for broke but unfortunetly cannoned into the black and it flew into the centre pocket. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! "NOT A WAY TO WIN A MATCH WILL WE WILL TAKE IT. "YES" !!! "NOT A WAY TO BREAK A HOODOO DOES IT MATTER. "NO" ..." SOMETIMES THE TIDE TURNS IN YOUR FAVOUR FOR TONIGHT WE WON A BATTLE NOT THE WAR"... THAT'S STILL TO COME!!!! GREAT SPORTMANSHIP FROM ETHAN AND THE REST OF THE LADS !!!A GOOD NIGHT HAD BY ALL WE CAN REST IN PEACE AND HOPEFULLY WE WON'T WAIT ANOTHER 3 YEARS TO WIN HERE AGAIN...... |
